From dark and drab, to bright & contemporary

From dark and drab, to bright & contemporary

We saw the potential in this dark and cramped en suite...

This project involved the complete transformation of a dated ensuite into a modern, calm, and highly functional space. The objective was to improve the layout, increase usable storage, and create a timeless design that would enhance both everyday use and long-term value.

The original bathroom felt dark and enclosed, with heavy finishes and bulky fittings dominating the room. While the space was functional, it no longer met the client’s expectations in terms of comfort, practicality, or visual appeal.

Our solution focused on introducing light, balance, and clarity. A stand-alone vanity unit, with matching fitted furniture units in a soft 'steel blue' were specified to maximise floor space while providing generous concealed storage. Patterned tiles were used selectively to add interest, paired with light flooring and neutral walls to create a clean, cohesive finish.

The completed bathroom now feels brighter, more spacious, and significantly more refined. The result is a contemporary space that combines considered design with practical functionality, delivering a bathroom built to perform and look exceptional for years to come.
