Our most recently completed bathroom transformation

We are incredibly proud of our most recently completed bathroom transformation! Our client struggles with mobility challenges, so we worked very closely with them throughout the project to ensure that the space was fully accessible, disability friendly, and fit for purpose.

Key Accessible Features

• A textured, non-slip shower tray - flush with the floor, allowing easy wheelchair access into the shower. Grey to disguise potential wheelchair track marks
• Rotating flipper panel to reduce splash, without compromising the width of entry into the shower enclosure
• Flush shower tray waste to eliminate trip hazards
• Folding shower seat, off-centre to the rainfall showerhead
• Plenty of storage for medication and equipment
• Semi-recessed basin with generous overhang
• Non-slip floor tiles
• Stylish chrome grab rails - of excellent quality to ensure no rusting
• A lit mirror and subtle recessed LED strips not only add a luxurious ambience, but double as gentle night lighting
• Freestanding bath tap, within easy reach

Accessible bathroom renovation

Our client opted for floor-to-ceiling metro tiles in a gloss green, with the same tiles in white inside the niches to create contrast. A sloping ceiling can make a room feel dark, so a gloss finish will encourage light to bounce throughout the space.

We absolutely love the cosy, yet contemporary result of this design. It is identical to the renders (visit our inspiration gallery to compare), but it is, of course, especially breath-taking in person.

We are confident that this transformation will make a dramatic difference to our client and ensure that their daily home life is much easier.
